Leeds Weeklyn Hill MPD 55A
Leeds Weeklyn Hill is a new OO Gauge model railway depicting a fictitious shed set in the heart of Leeds during the late 1950's/early 1960's. It's small size means it is nothing more than an outpost for loco's not able to get into Holbeck and Neville Hill (which is quite a lot it seems!).
The location of the shed allows a mixture of steam and diesel locos mainly from the Midland and Eastern region for a small smattering of Western and Southern on railtour workings.
All locos are DCC sound fitted with accurate sounds installed to the decoder giving the shed an extra dimension. The fleet portrays a mixture of locos that would be found in this busy Yorkshire town during the golden days of steam, some of which have been renumbered as Leeds based locos.
The layout is currently taking bookings for exhibitions, please check the calender for details on where we can be seen or the contact section if you would like to book us.
